Becoming a Member
The Louisiana Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators welcomes and encourages membership from individuals, institutions of higher education, and organizations that support financial aid services and financial assistance programs for institutions of higher learning.
The membership year runs from January 1 through December 31.

LASFAA’s Purpose
- To promote the professional competency and association of student financial aid administrators in colleges, universities, governmental agencies, foundations, and related organizations.
- To assist educational institutions, foundations, governmental agencies, and private community organizations in developing effective programs related to student financial aid.
- To facilitate communication between educational institutions and sponsors of student financial aid funds through the exchange of ideas, information, and experience.
- To promote conferences, studies, cooperative efforts, and related activities that support the purpose of the association.
